Environment Policy

The Management and Staff of the hotel BALI PARADISE BEACH Hotel Club & Spa - Botanical Garden, are committed to implementing an Environmental Management System across all its activities in accordance with the Environmental Policy.

It will constantly monitor the full and effective implementation of this system by providing the necessary means for on-going and uninterrupted operation and improvement.

Finally, it is by all means committed to having the environmental validity of this system certified by various certification agencies. Consequently, the above will have positive effects on the environment, competitiveness and overall business performance.

An analysis of our commitments follows:

• Taking of measures to protect the environment in accordance with the requirements of environmental legislation.
• Reduction of water consumption, and the progressive installation of water saving systems.
• Reduction of energy consumption of any kind and promotion of renewable energy and the use of energy efficient means.
• Application of a waste and recyclables sorting programme, and their minimization where possible.
• Increase of customer awareness regarding environmental issues.
• Participation of cooperating suppliers and subcontractors in environmental procedures.
• Establishing objective environmental targets by preparing and implementing achievable action plans preventing pollution and improving overall effectiveness.
• Adoption of specific standards and environmental inspections of the internal operation of the unit.
• Application of continuous education, and briefing of staff, collaborators and suppliers on environmental issues in order to increase environmental awareness and the effective implementation of pollution prevention measures and emergency measures.
• Updating the local community and encouraging an open-ended discussion.
• Protection of the natural environment (air, land, water) affected by our activities.
• Use, where possible, of natural materials and elimination of use of products and activities that pose high environmental threats.
• Conduct of environmental audits and inspections of environmental issues of concern and publication of results.
• United action for the protection of nature.

Concerning the quality of services, the company has integrated in its operation systems the ISO series and has implemented the following quality systems:

• ISO 9001:2008 for the quality services of the organisation
• ISO 22000:2005 hygiene of food production and distribution
• ISO 14001:2004 for environmental management

Finally our organization has obtained the Green Key certification for its environment policy, the Blue Flag certification for the quality of the beach, and has participated in the plantation of 200 trees.
